FAQ
General
Why are you called Monsoon Chocolate?
Monsoon Chocolate is named for the summer rains that renew and nourish the Sonoran Desert. After months of intense heat, the first storms transform the landscape and bring a sense of relief, renewal, and possibility. We see a parallel in the tasting experience itself. Just as the desert opens under the monsoon, chocolate reveals its depth and character when approached with attention and care. The name reflects both our environment and our philosophy.

Products & Ingredients
Are your products vegan, gluten free, or allergen free?
We offer many products that are naturally vegan or gluten free, but all items are made in a facility that handles tree nuts, wheat, milk, eggs, and peanuts. Our products may not be suitable for people with allergies to these foods.
Can I customize my bon bon box?
Yes — in person at the Factory + Gift Shop. We keep a full rotating bon bon case on site, and you can build a 4, 8, or 15 piece box from whatever flavors are available that day. Any quantity works; smaller orders go home in a sleeve.
What does the % on the bar mean?
The % indicates the total cocoa content in the bar. For example, in an 80% dark chocolate, 80% of the bar is made up of cocoa solids and cocoa butter, and the remaining 20% is sugar. A higher % means less sugar and a more intense cocoa profile.
Do you make sugar free chocolate?
We do not currently offer a sugar free chocolate bar, though we plan to bring a 100% bar back in the future. At this time, we do not use sugar substitutes or alternative sweeteners.
